Michael Anderson, Arroyo Valley girl’s high school basketball coach clearly listens to Slayer, “Kill em’ All” on his way to the gym.  On what planet is a 162-2 score ok?  Even professional teams let the foot off the gas, bring in their bench warmers and at the prep level, teams purposefully stop scoring when games get out of hand.

Not weirdo Michael Anderson though.  He kept running the high-pressure full-court trap even as the game got to 104-1 at one juncture.  Anderson, the overzealous prick that he is, was contacted by Arroyo’s athletic director and learned he would be suspended for one game.

The opposing coach wasn’t pleased:

“People shouldn’t feel sorry for my team,” opposing coach Dale Chung of Bloomington High told The Sporting News. “They should feel sorry for his (Anderson’s) team, which isn’t learning the game the right way.”

Seriously though, did this beat down in a girls hoops game get this guys rocks off? Usually, some form of humanity kicks in and athletic competition takes a back seat to a touch of compassion and perhaps a little empathy. Strange, strange turn of events, this 162-2 beat down was.
