This past weekend, the Sunderland travelling support were treated to a live viewing of their beloved Black Cats getting shat upon 8-0 by Southampton Saints. Soton’s home stadium, Saint Mary’s, is a mere 7.5 hour drive from Sunderland’s home, Tyne And Wear, so the ride home must have been a right jolly one for the Northerners.

Somewhat luckily for the 2,500 poor bastards that made the trek to England’s south coast to see their club utterly annihilated, the Sunderland FC players have decided to pony up and refund ticket prices.  This whole idea was the brainchild of Sunderland keeper Vito Mannone, whose back is still sore from bending over and getting the ball out of his net.
