YaYa strolls into the states, Manchester City in tow.

Well, dear reader and BLS Loyalist; if you caught my Deadlift column the other day, then you know that I was full of gripery, bitchery and complaints about the lack of sports in late July and August.  Well, for you Europhiles out there, hope has emerged in the form of the touring Olde Worlde football superpowers, many of whom have scheduled appearances in good ol’ ‘Merica this summer.  ESPN, who did naught but cover Brazil’s World Cup oh so excellently, have picked up quite a few of the games, and the first of the broadcasts kicks off on July 23- that’s manana, brother!  BLS contributing editor @DJ_R_O will be on the ground in Berkeley to see two recent Champions League winners go at it in Real Madrid and Inter Milan this coming Saturday; we highly recommend doing likewise and getting out to watch America’s sport of the future since 1972..

Tune in and get your footie fix as the transfer season heats up and we draw nearer to European league play.
